1. About these terms
These Terms of Use describe use of the SunRoute Energy website at sunrouteenergy.com, including its informational pages, planning tools and forms. “SunRoute,” “we,” and “our” refer to the SunRoute Energy business operating this website. Questions can be sent to sales@sunrouteenergy.com.
Website use or a form submission does not by itself create a solar purchase, installation, lease, power purchase agreement, loan, employment relationship, or obligation to pay. Any such arrangement requires its own applicable agreement and disclosures. These terms do not replace or change a separately signed project agreement.
2. Our role and project providers
SunRoute provides solar and battery sales consultations for California customers. A separate appropriately licensed contractor performs any installation under its own agreement. SunRoute does not represent that it is the installation contractor or lender through this website.
Before proceeding with a project, confirm the installer’s legal name, current license, scope of work, permits, equipment, pricing, payment terms and warranty obligations. Service availability, home-visit coverage and project suitability require individual confirmation. The website does not certify your roof or electrical system or establish a final system design.
3. Calculator results and website information
The solar calculator provides educational planning scenarios based on inputs and editable assumptions. Its starting prices, electricity rates, production yield and financing values are examples, not live quotes, lender offers, utility tariffs or site-specific forecasts. Utility selection identifies the scenario and does not load actual rates.
The calculator does not perform a roof, shade, weather or hourly tariff assessment. Battery runtime depends on the assumptions shown and does not establish whole-home backup capability. Calculated energy value or simple payback does not guarantee actual bills, savings, production or investment returns. Obtain a project-specific proposal before making a financial decision.
Website content is general information, not individualized tax, legal, financial or engineering advice. Illustrative and AI-generated home images do not depict completed SunRoute installations unless expressly identified otherwise. Product features and availability may change.
4. Inquiries and consultation bookings
Submitting a callback, calculator inquiry, referral or other inquiry asks SunRoute to respond. It does not reserve an appointment. A saved request reference confirms receipt in our system, not approval of a project.
To reserve a consultation, choose an available time and complete the Google Calendar booking form. The booking service provides a confirmation when booking is completed. Review the confirmation for the time, time zone and appointment details. Use the confirmation’s available controls or contact SunRoute to request a change or cancellation.
Home visits require confirmation of travel coverage and property access. A booking or inquiry does not authorize roof entry, testing, construction or other physical work. Any necessary visit authorization is handled separately. Free consultations carry no purchase obligation.
5. Financing, warranties and promotions
Any $0-down financing or 25-year loan information on the website is subject to lender approval, program eligibility and the lender’s written terms. $0 down does not mean free equipment or no ongoing payments. Compare cash and financed prices, APR, fees, payment changes and total payments. SunRoute does not approve credit through website forms or the calculator.
A stated 25-year warranty is subject to the applicable provider’s written coverage. Confirm the issuer, equipment or work covered, exclusions, labor coverage, claims and transfer rules. The term alone does not mean every component, battery or service has identical coverage.
Referral rewards and other promotions depend on their applicable eligibility and completion conditions. A referral submission alone does not earn a payment. Confirm current written program terms with SunRoute. No tax credit, rebate, production level or specific savings amount is guaranteed through these terms.
6. Information and files you submit
Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submit another person’s contact details or documents only when you have appropriate permission. Use website forms for their stated purpose and provide only the information needed to respond.
Remove account and payment details from electric bills where feasible. Do not upload passwords, bank details, government identification numbers, medical records or unrelated sensitive documents. Career interest forms request professional background, not salary history or sensitive identification.
SunRoute processes submissions to respond to the relevant inquiry or request, as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting information does not grant blanket permission to publish your personal information or subscribe you to marketing. Any installer sharing should follow the permission applicable to your project.
7. Privacy choices and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains current website information practices. Our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page provides browser preferences and privacy-request options. You do not need to accept these terms, create an account or agree to marketing to exercise those privacy options.
Privacy-request acknowledgements confirm receipt, not completion of access, correction or deletion. SunRoute may need information to locate records or handle requests under applicable law. Contact sales@sunrouteenergy.com with privacy questions.
Submitting a service or career inquiry permits a response to that request using the contact details you provide. It is not blanket consent to automated marketing calls or texts. You may ask SunRoute to stop marketing communications. Necessary messages about an active request or appointment may be handled separately.
8. Careers and recruitment interest
The Careers page accepts introductions for potential sales opportunities. It does not guarantee a current opening, interview, offer, compensation level or worker classification. Any role requires separately confirmed responsibilities, applicable credentials and written engagement terms. An acknowledgement email only confirms that the submission was received.
9. Appropriate website use
Do not use the website to impersonate another person, submit unauthorized personal information, distribute malware or spam, obtain private records without permission, circumvent access controls, or disrupt the service. SunRoute may limit abusive or unauthorized use while preserving rights required by law.
Ordinary browsing, linking to public pages, accessibility tools and lawful search indexing are permitted. Permission to view public content does not grant access to private inboxes, customer documents or protected systems.
10. Content and third-party services
SunRoute branding and website materials may be protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may view and print public material for personal evaluation of our services. Obtain permission for commercial reuse where required by law. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not by itself establish endorsement or a business partnership.
Links, embedded calendars, social platforms and other outside services operate under their own policies. SunRoute does not control their availability or all of their content. Review the responsible provider’s terms before using its services.
11. Availability, accuracy and consumer rights
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but information may be incomplete, outdated or unavailable during maintenance or technical interruptions. Website estimates and public content are provided for general informational use. Contact us if you find an error or a submission fails. Keep a copy of any important confirmation or signed agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses unlawful conduct, limits non-waivable consumer rights, or changes a right under an applicable signed contract. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive class-action rights or charge a penalty for making a privacy request.
12. Updates and contact
We may update these website terms as services change. The effective date identifies the version currently posted. An update does not retroactively change a separately signed agreement. Material terms for a future purchase, financing arrangement or engagement must be reviewed in the relevant agreement.
