Our featured financing offer

Explore solar with
$0 down.

Ask about financing for your solar project with a 25-year loan term and a 25-year warranty, subject to the applicable written terms.

$0Upfront out-of-pocket payment
25 yearsLoan term
25 years*Warranty term

Subject to lender approval and program eligibility. $0 down does not mean free solar or no ongoing payments. Compare the cash and financed prices, APR, fees, payment schedule, financed amount, and total payments in the lender’s written offer. SunRoute Energy is not a lender.

*Warranty coverage depends on the provider’s written agreement. Confirm the issuer, covered equipment or work, exclusions, claims procedure, and transfer terms. A 25-year warranty does not imply that every component or service has identical coverage.

Different priorities. Different arrangements.

Understand your ways to pay.

Ownership, upfront cost, and long-term responsibilities vary. The loan offer above is available to discuss; other arrangements below are educational and depend on your project provider.

02 · THIRD-PARTY OWNERSHIP

Power purchase agreement

A provider owns the system, and you buy the electricity it produces under the agreement.

  • Payments are generally tied to generated energy
  • Review the per-kWh rate and any increases
  • Availability and upfront terms must be confirmed

03 · DIRECT PURCHASE

Cash purchase

Pay for the system directly rather than financing the purchase.

  • Review the complete installed price
  • No loan interest for a cash purchase
  • Confirm payment milestones and service terms

PPA · Power purchase agreement

Buy the energy.
Understand the agreement.

With a PPA, the provider owns the solar equipment and sells you the electricity it generates at the contract rate. This differs from a loan, where you finance a system purchase, and a lease, where you typically pay to use the equipment.

Who owns the system?

The third-party provider. Purchase or buyout options depend on the contract.

How do payments work?

Review the price per kilowatt-hour, billed production, agreement length, and any annual rate escalator.

Who handles service?

The agreement should specify monitoring, maintenance, repairs, coverage limits, and who you contact.

What should I check before signing a PPA?
  • Starting electricity rate and any annual increases
  • Production assumptions and any written performance provisions
  • Remaining utility charges and how exports are credited
  • Maintenance, roof work, insurance, and repair responsibilities
  • Home-sale transfer, buyer approval, buyout, and early-exit rules
Is a PPA the same as $0-down loan financing?

No. A loan finances a system purchase; a PPA purchases electricity from a provider-owned system. Some providers may offer no upfront payment, but SunRoute must confirm the actual available program and its written terms for your project.

Educational overview. No PPA provider partnership, guaranteed savings, fixed rate, or PPA availability is promised on this page.

Your financing questions, answered.

Does SunRoute have $0-down financing?

Yes. Ask about our $0-down offer with a 25-year loan term. Approval, APR, fees, and payments depend on lender eligibility and the written offer.

What does the 25-year warranty cover?

Request the actual provider’s warranty. The term alone does not define coverage. Ask about equipment, workmanship, exclusions, labor, claims, and transfer rules; coverage may differ by component.

Will solar remove my utility bill?

No bill elimination or savings amount is guaranteed. Your results depend on usage, system design, utility rates and rules, and the payment arrangement. Utility charges may remain.

Can I compare without applying for credit?

Yes. This page and the free consultation do not submit a credit application. Before applying with a lender, review its credit-check disclosures.

Are rebates or tax credits included?

No incentive amount is promised here. Confirm current eligibility with the responsible provider and a qualified tax professional before including incentives in your budget.

Does SunRoute install the system?

SunRoute provides solar sales and consultations. Installation is performed by a separate appropriately licensed contractor under its own agreement.
